Jeliza's Rose

Inspired by the character Jeliza Rose from the film "Tideland" (Terry Guilliam, 2005).

Jeliza is a girl who lives in a dreamlike and macabre world. Her only way to survive is by naturalizing horror and living it as a child's game.

The cabinet is a typology that arose for the purpose of storing and exhibiting collections in the 16th century. This cabinet contains Jeliza's ritual objects as a way of telling her story.
